Practical information

How to get there:

Travelling by own vehicle:

Entrance through the north gate to car park 11 (P11).

Then go straight ahead towards the tunnel of Building 1A (Holding), passing the statue of Eng. Belmiro de Azevedo and go down the stairs to the BALC.
Travelling on foot:

At the SONAE roundabout, take the South Gate entrance, go straight ahead and down the stairs after Park 1 (P1).

Rules of Use

1. Early booking:

  • Book rooms as early as possible to ensure availability.

2. Purpose of use:

  • The rooms must be used exclusively for the purposes specified in the booking, such as training and events.
  • We don’t accept short-term bookings (1h/2h); the space is only intended for events and training sessions lasting at least 4 or 8 hours.
  • Any change in purpose must be notified and approved in advance.

3. Hours of Use:

  • Respect the timetable established in the booking: Start and finish the activities within the time booked.

4. Cleaning and Conservation

  • Keep the rooms clean and in good condition during and after use.
  • Report damage or problems immediately to the room manager.
  • Additional charges may apply in the event of damage or extraordinary cleaning required.

5. Capacity and Configuration:

  • Communicate and respect the maximum capacity of the room to ensure that the preparation of logistical services.

6. Equipment and Resources:

  • Use the equipment available with care and switch it off after use.
  • Additional costs may apply for the use of special equipment or technical services.

7. Technical support:

  • The need for technical service from another company must be communicated to and confirmed by the reservations manager.
  • The client is responsible for coordinating and requesting the necessary technical support for the event.
  • Costs associated with technical support will be the responsibility of the customer.

8. Catering:

  • The client is responsible for hiring and coordinating the catering service, if desired.
  • Please confirm availability of catering space when booking.
  • Costs associated with the catering service will be the responsibility of the client and must be dealt with directly by the service provider.

9. Responsibility:

  • The organisers are responsible for ensuring that all participants comply with these rules.
  • Any violation may result in the suspension of reservation privileges.

10. Cancellation of bookings:

  • Cancellations must be notified up to 48 hours in advance (72 hours in advance for Auditorium bookings).
  • Cancellation charges may apply according to established policies.
